Chronicles Of A Dark Lord Episode II: War of the Abyss Review: This is the sequel to the highly acclaimed game : Chronicles of a Dark Lord: Episode One Tides of Fate. It expands on the predecessor and adds more depth to the story.
Sneaky Sneaky is a turn based adventure game with stealth based tactical gameplay. It’s available for PC, Mac and iOS. The story follows the adventure of an anti-hero who has been imprisoned but subsequently escaped. In the adventure he’ll vindicate himself as he reclaims a stolen treasure.
Mattie is a summoner who can use his abilities to use monsters, sort of in a Pokemon-style way. The one thing Mattie loves above everything else is money. That’s right. He’s extremely shallow. Not much of a hero, really. He’s no interest in fame, honor or nobility, just cold hard cash. Then one day Mattie stumbles upon a woman in a den full of monsters. She promises to pay Mattie 100 million in gold (whole lot of mulah that) if he can be victorious in a tournament that will determine the greatest sorceror in the world. Clearly this woman is up to something–no one offers that sort of cash–but just what exactly is she after? Mattie journeys off to sin the battle and to earn his cash reward.
Valkyria Chronicles is a tactical RPG ( role-playing game ) from video game developer Sega and is available for PS3 and PC. Valkyria Chronicles is set in Europa, loosely based on Europe during the early years of World War II.
Chain Chronicle is a fully voice Japanese role playing game (JRPG). It features some very interesting gameplay mechanics and a deep turn based combat system.
Lords of the Fallen
b Lords of the Fallen is a role playing game(RPG) that utilises an advanced combat system and a skills tree. Lord of the Fallen is set in a fantastical world in which Gods have failed humans. You play a human who will set ou on a quest to defeat the gods.
Two Worlds is a fantasy role playing game created by video game developer Reality Pump and released in 2010, with a sequel released in 2011. Two Worlds is set in a 3D fantasy world not dissimilar to that found the Elder Scrolls games.
Disgaea 4 A Promise Unforgotten is a tactical role playing game made by video game developer Nippon Ichi Softwarre. The game tells the story of an ex tyrant called Valvatorez, who is leading a group of rebels against the president of the netherworld.

Knights and Dragons
Gree’s Knights and Dragons is a free to play game that has earned an absolute ton of popularity over recent months. It’s a traditional fantasy RPG that also incorporated elements of city building into the mix. Then it adds a ton of polish to create one of the most well executed games of recent times.
If you take the traditional RPG and splice it with a city building game, you’re pretty much left with Knights and Dragons. You build your city. You then get lots of different resources that help your characters to level up. Then you head into combat against all different manner of beasties. Or, if you can’t be bothered to wait, you can just hop into the game’s store and purchase stuff.
Zelda is one of the most popular series of games of all time and one of the reasons why Nintendo became as well respected and loved as they did. Games in the Zelda series include a combination of action adventure and puzzle gameplay, with role playing elements added on top. The gameplay has changed as the series has evolved but the basic premise of an action adventure in a fantasy realm has always remained the same.
Torchlight 2 is a fantasy action role playing game that is more casual than a lot of RPG games. It’s brilliant. Obviously, it’d have to be given that the game developer who made it also worked on Fate and Diablo; but it’s approachable and relatively simply too.

DragonAge is a series of action-oriented fantasy RPGs that are spiritual successors to Baldur’s Gate. It is one of the biggest franchises from video game developer BioWare. Games in the Dragon Age series are based in the 9th age of the Dragon Age universe, when dragons, which were once thought extinct, have now taken over and are running rampage through the world leaving area in ruin. The land is full of war, whether they be political, religious, racial hatred or other kinds of wars.

If you’re an older gamer, you’ll likely be drying your eyes as you recount the history of RPGs.
