Space Expedition: Classic Adventure Review

November 17, 2014 // 0 Comments

Space Expedition: Classic Adventure is an utterly entertaining, unique and atmospheric game. It’s one of those games where you travel back and forth, gathering new items that allow you to reexplore previously visited areas. And that is probably the worst game description I’ll ever pen in my life. It’s not dissimilar to Metroid. But to call it a Metroid clone would be grossly unfair. It’s a dark, surprising, and even disturbing adventure, a puzzle platformer with tons of areas to explore.

A Classic Video Game Resurrected: Q*bert Rebooted

Q*Bert Reboted

B*Bert rebooted offers both the classic game itself and Q*bert: Rebooted. Both are similar, you jump on blocks and they change colour. Change the colour of all the blocks and the level’s complete. Simple, pure, retro goodness. Through in a few enemies and you’ve got all the complexity you need. Sadly, the classic version here isn’t quite as good as the original (but really, the original of anything is always the best, right?). Still, the gameplay is excellent and it definitely will put a smile on the face of nostalgic old gamers like me.
